Holme Grange Reservoir (22 anglers)

 Today was a frustrating day for some anglers with the fish more interested on basking on the surface then eating angler’s bait. However, fish were still caught all around with only 18lb separating the top five anglers, with the pellet waggler being the most dominant method with all the top three catching on it. Luis Lopez did well on the tunnel bank to catch 15 carp at regular intervals during the match to win the match quite comfortably, the next two weights both came off the oak tree bank with Bob Hall also landing 15 carp throughout the five hours but the fish were a smaller average but he still managed to tip 59lb 5oz on the scales for second place. While Nina Moretti caught 13 carp on the pellet waggler from the noted peg with the oak tree directly behind it but her 13 carp were still enough for third place.
