Roger Knight won with 142.00lb and 2nd came Mick Mc Guire with 113.02lb so well done to all. These great weights were caught on maggot feeder with maggots on the hook.

This is the time of year when most of the manufactures release all the new latest tackle and we have lots and lots of it in the shop. See our whats hot page for the lastest arrivals. We have recently stared selling Greys and Chub tackle and have lots of the gear in and the same with Nash. With the mild weather so far the lake is fishing really well, 60lb is winning some of the matches and the Roach are feeding really well and so are the carp so brave the cold and get on the bank!

There are lots of new bits of tackle being released between now and the spring. Lake News

The lake is still fishing really well. Matches are still being won with 60lb+ which is great for this time of the year. There have been some 20lb fish out in the last couple of weeks and there have also been some great weights of Roach caught on maggots, caster and worm. This week some night anglers were still catching a fair few fish. If you are not sure how best to fish Holme Grange in the winter see Colin Tips for more detailed advice. You can now check availability of the lake on our calendar page to make sure that there are no matches when you want to go fishing. Keep you eye out for major tackle events next year three of the big suppliers will be fishing with their tackle for you to see, try and buy at the lake this summer, We will keep you posted on the dates.

Match News

We have two matches in the Christmas holidays which should be good fun on the 28th of December and the 2nd of January if you wish to book in call or email us . Match weights are still good with 50-60lb winning most matches this week. Our Match Results page has all the results and weights. We still have some spaces for Club Matches/events this winter.
